It seemed so unjust that many suffer when just a little help can make all the difference. Mike and Kerstin began working with their network of national contacts to provide help.   Starfish Asia is the result of that concern. Registered with the UK Charity Commissioners in 2003, the fund provides resources to known and trusted Christian believers to provide material, spiritual and educational help to people who are poor, hurting and in need in Pakistan and other South Asian countries.   It is that network of trusted partners in South Asia who are the key to our usefulness -- they are the ones rescuing starfish. Please click on each of their projects listed here and see how much is being accomplished through these dedicated men and women.     Starfish Asia works closely with a sister organisation in Pakistan, Starfish Pakistan, an independent registered Trust with a Board of Trustees comprised of leaders in the Paksitan Christian communtiy. Anser Javed is Director of Starfish Pakistan, ably assisted by his wife Kashi. Together they led the work of the Holy Shepherd School in Karachi for ten years, before taking the responsibility to direct Starfish Pakistan. They have two children and live in Lahore.         Provision of education for young people is an urgent priority and I am delighted that Starfish Asia is doing this, in Christ's name, for the poorest of the poor in Pakistan. I pray that God will richly bless their work and those whom it seeks to help. Rt. Rev.
